Vladislav Kern, the young prodigy, was born in Moscow into a family of musicians. He started his music studies in the Central Music School at the Moscow Tchaikovsky conservatory (class of Professor V.V. Piasetsky). Since 2011, he has been a student at the Juilliard School of Music, N.Y. (class of Professor, Dr. Y.Kaplinsky). Kern has received scholarships from the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation, as well as from the Juilliard School of Music. In 2012, He received a prestigious scholarship from Van Cliburn, which was the first time in the history of Pre-College Division of Juilliard School. 

Kern is the winner of many international festivals (Republic of South Africa, Russia, Denmark, and the U.S.A.). He has performed at the House of the Government of the Russian Federation. Vladik played his first concert with an orchestra at age six with the philharmonic orchestra of Cape Town (Republic of South Africa). He has performed with many orchestras in Russia, and in 2009 took part in the 30thanniversary concert of "Moscow Virtuosi," with conductor Maestro Vladimir Spivakov, at the Moscow International House of Music.

When Kern was nine, he was invited as the soloist to a solemn concert-celebration of Van Cliburn in Fort Worth, Texas. In 2009, Kern debuted in the U.S.A., in a solo concert at the Lincoln Center, N.Y., and also performed at the Copenhagen Summer Festival in Denmark.

With recordings being played on the radio and TV around the world, during the 2010-2011 season, Kern had an intensive concert schedule, performing his successful debut recital in Milano, Sala Puccini, at the Verdi Conservatory as part of the prestigious Italian concert organization "Societa dei concerti." He also performed the Brno, Czech Republic philharmonic orchestra, and in Luxembourg as part of the piano series of "Bank of Luxembourg." He performed across Calif. Including the La Jolla Chamber Music Festival.

In 2012, Kern played a solo concert upon a special invitation and recommendation personally given by Van Cliburn at a Christie's Auction on Van Cliburn's piano, and solo concerts at the Juilliard School and Lincoln Center. 

In 2013, Kern toured Northern Italy with the "Societa dei concerti," including solo concerts in Milano and Cantu, and played solo concerts in Colorado and N.Y., closing the season at the renowned Steinway Hall.

2014 Kern repeated his success for "Societa dei concerti" and continued the year with chamber concerts at the Juilliard School and Kaufmann Music Center, and debuted at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center with Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra under baton of Maestro Vladimir Spivakov in a concert dedicated to the 35th anniversary celebration of Moscow Virtuosi. Kern also participated in the Bruckner Music Academy Festival and gave master classes in Linz, Austria, with additional concerts at the Juilliard School.

So far in 2015 Kern has performed solo and chamber music concerts at the Juilliard School of Music,and plans for 2015-16 include recitals and concerts with orchestras in the Czech Republic, Russia and the United State, including summer festivals in Colo. and Calif. and a performance of the Mozart Double Concerto in Italy and Germany.
